At Ocean Stars Youth Empowerment, we are proud to launch the “OceanPath Empowerment Program,” a dynamic initiative committed to guiding high school students from underserved communities through the transition to college. In collaboration with Step Ahead Scholars, this program aims to empower students by providing essential resources and support for their educational journey.

Program Highlights:

College Application Assistance: OceanPath offers comprehensive support for college applications, ensuring students have the tools and knowledge to navigate the complex admissions process.
Essay Writing Workshops: Students benefit from hands-on essay writing workshops, facilitated by program alumni who have successfully secured full-ride scholarships. These dedicated volunteers share their experiences and expertise to help students craft compelling narratives for college applications and scholarships.
Access to Guidance: While not every student is paired with a dedicated mentor, we provide access to knowledgeable individuals who can guide and answer questions about college applications and scholarships. This inclusive approach ensures that every student receives the support they need.
Volunteer Engagement: At the heart of our program is a dedicated team of volunteers who generously contribute their time and knowledge to mentor, guide, and inspire the next generation of students. Our commitment to excellence ensures that each volunteer is carefully selected and qualified to provide valuable assistance with college applications, scholarship applications, and other crucial aspects of the educational journey.
